It takes more than teachers to run a working farm school.
YSA will need people from across the agriculture and education worlds. If any of these sound like you — or someone you know — we want to hear from you.
Teaching Faculty
Across all 12 specialized programs — from crop production and livestock management to agribusiness, food science, and precision ag. We’re looking for educators who can bring real industry experience into the classroom.
Farm Manager
An experienced operator to lead the day-to-day on our 76-acre working farm — managing land, livestock, equipment, and the operational rhythm that lets the school function as a real ag enterprise.
Heavy Equipment Specialists
Journeymen, instructors, or industry experts who can teach students to safely operate, maintain, and certify on the equipment that runs Alberta agriculture. Teaching credential not required — experience is.
Operations & Support
Administrators, maintenance, ag technicians, kitchen staff, support roles — every position at YSA contributes to a working farm school. If you’re not sure where you fit, tell us anyway.
