Message from the Premier of Alberta
On behalf of the Government of Alberta, it is my pleasure to send greetings for Raise the Roof to Grow the Future, in support of future phases of Prairie Rose Public Schools’ Yuill School of Agriculture.
Growers, producers and processors across this province work tirelessly to feed Canadians and the world. The agri-food sector is an important part of our culture and economy and essential to the health of Alberta’s rural communities. This new program is an exciting opportunity for the next generation of agricultural leaders to gain industry-relevant experience in a variety of specialties through hands-on learning.
Offering families more choice in education remains a key priority for Alberta’s government, and Budget 2026 includes operating and capital funding to support the start-up and construction of new collegiate schools across the province. Alberta’s government is proud to partner with Prairie Rose Public Schools, the Yuill School of Agriculture and Neubauer Farms to support career-connected learning that helps young people access clear pathways into post-secondary and in-demand careers.
Thank you to everyone involved for your commitment to education and the future of agriculture. Please accept my very best wishes for a successful fundraiser and a joyful celebration of community.
