On August 8, 2026, community, family, and friends of the Yuill School of Agriculture filled Southern Alberta Collegiate for our inaugural gala fundraiser. What we shared that night was more than a fundraiser — it was a room full of belief in what comes next.

Hundreds gathered at Southern Alberta Collegiate for the inaugural Raise the Roof to Grow the Future gala — a celebration of the vision, the donors, and the future of Alberta’s first dedicated agricultural high school.

The Raise the Roof to Grow the Future Gala Fundraiser was about so much more than raising funds for the Yuill School of Agriculture. It was a celebration of a community coming together to invest in youth, strengthen our region, and support the future of agricultural education.

A Moment That Mattered
Mr. Yuill passed on his brand.
In one of the most meaningful moments of the evening, Mr. Bill Yuill transferred his registered cattle brand to Prairie Rose Public Schools — entrusting it to Dr. Reagan Weeks for the future Yuill School of Agriculture.

Every animal raised on the future Yuill School of Agriculture farm will carry Mr. Yuill’s mark — a symbol of the lineage of stewardship and belief that started this whole thing.
Throughout the evening, we honored the legacy of those whose vision, dedication, and generosity have made the Yuill School of Agriculture possible, while also celebrating the exciting future that lies ahead. Together, we recognized the power of education, partnerships, and community to shape the next generation of agricultural leaders.
